is a Finnish photojournalist and documentary photographer. Maiju Pohjanheimo has been working as a photojournalist since 2003 when she started her career with a political newspaper, Suomenmaa, in Finland. Pohjanheimo has been awarded the degree of Master of Arts having followed an approved programme of study in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at University of the Arts London. Currently Pohjanheimo works as a freelance photographer in Oulu, Finland.
When I work my aim is to connect to the emotions and bring this out in my pictures.
